I am proud to announce that the Biology Block classes are going to be working on Wikispaces.com this semester! It will be an exciting adventure for all of us! Each student has his/her own Wiki page associated with our class page on which they will post projects, graphs, tables, data, pictures, and video from our learning adventures. Please follow the URL below to or class Wiki page to see what is in store for your student this semester.
If you visited our Wiki page at the above listed URL, you were able to see that your student has a Wiki page listed with his/her first name and the first initial of his/her last name. Information on this webpage will be viewable by anyone who visits our page, so I am informing students that they may not use last names on our website for any reason. I will be closely monitoring all posts to this site including student Wiki pages, and I have the ability to edit/remove any inappropriate content at any time from any of the pages.
I am requesting that students have permission from you to post information to their assigned Wiki page. Please talk with your student about using the internet safely and share any concerns you may have with him/her. If you do not wish to allow your student permission to post information to his/her assigned Wiki page, I will have him/her send it to me via email or save it to a thumb drive so it may be submitted to me for a grade.
